MAGNAFLOW 41100 SERIES CATALYTIC CONVERTER

This is the first series of a new line of catalytic converters designed for use on vehicles equipped with Second Generation On-Board Diagnostic systems. Made from heavy gauge stainless steel, tip to tip, this catalytic converter has a ribbed body that minimizes expansion and distortion when it heats up. It has the strongest and smoothest flowing inlet and outlet joint and uses a monolithic honeycomb catalyst. It is also seam welded close to the converter body for a strong, tight bond.

This series has the same catalyst as the standard 94000 series but comes in a round configuration for convenient fitment in certain applications. It is designed for use in tight places. Utilizing new manufacturing techniques, Magnaflow fabricates each converter body from a single CNC-formed and laser-welded tubular section. Each converter is literally manufactured around the ceramic catalyst, which is securely tucked inside, and necks down to thicker gauge material at the inlet and outlet for maximum durability. It contains a metallic substrate for maximum CFM flow and enhanced durability.
