w/o gasket-use sealant - A water pump gasket is not used on this application; use the appropriate liquid gasket sealant instead.

OEM - There have been a few comments re the gasket packed with the Paraut version of this pump being of a softer density than the OE gasket. Tests by Atsugi (Paraut's parent company) have not shown any problems, but they advise that that torquing the attaching bolts to the proper spec is critical on this application for proper sealing. For those who prefer a different gasket, we also offer #19222-PT0-300 (made by Ohtsuka, the OE supplier), which can be ordered separately.

w/o housing - w/ Housing - This pump will replace the original pump # 16100-79135 on Celica models GT & GTS - 09/89 to 07/91 with 5SFE engine - however you must also use # 90916-03046 (46mm o.d.) thermostat & # 16321-03060 thermostat housing - * OE water pump part # 16100-79135-83 has a larger (54mm o.d.) thermostat & thermostat housing than water pump # 16100-79185-83 (46mm OD). w/o o-rings. ASC & OES brands include: 3 o-rings and a small gasket. No water pump gasket.
