Bilstein Strut Inserts – Bilstein is considered to be the leader in suspension products. Bilstein struts come in a Comfort, Heavy Duty and a Sport style strut. Spend a few dollars more and get the best struts with a lifetime warranty. The Bilstein strut is best identified by its trademark yellow paint and blue lettering. The most notable difference with a Bilstein strut insert is that the strut tube is a very large diameter. This is due to the fact the strut is inverted inside the insert assembly. This reduces the un-sprung weight of the suspension, providing less inertia and weight for the strut to dampen.
