3 point mount : positioned vertically by fuel tank. When superseding from original pump (1) 108 470 02 81 mounting bracket and (3) 126 988 00 11 buffer mounts are also required.

0 580 464 995 One of two possible pumps may have been installed by BMW. See also part number 16 14 7 161 387. Customer must determine which pump is installed on car regardless of information listed in Bosch catalog or the OE CD-ROM. This pump has a small mounting bracket, and a banjo fitting. Note that this pump does not have an external pressure regulator as used in the Bosch pump. The Pierburg pump has an internal regulator.

pump + screen - In Tank Alleged fuel pump failures can often be traced to a faulty fuel pressure regulator instead of (or in addition to) the pump itself. To avoid unnecessary warranty returns and comebacks, WORLDPAC strongly recommends testing (and, if in doubt, replacing) the fuel pressure regulator before considering the diagnosis of a faulty fuel pump to be complete and correct.
