DriveWire Return Policy & Instructions

ALL SALES ARE CONSIDERED FINAL 30 DAYS AFTER THE ORIGINAL INVOICE DATE: - Please inspect all items when received and immediately notify DriveWire if you need to return or exchange the product/s. DriveWire Inc. only accepts authorized returns that are received back at our warehouse in new sale-able condition within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. Any items returned after the 30 day time period may not be eligible for credit and may be returned at the original purchaser's expense.

  • Returns will not be accepted at our warehouse without an RMA number.
  • We only accept authorized returns that are received back at our warehouse in new sale-able condition within 30 calendar days of the purchase date.
  • All part returns must be in their original packaging in new condition, has all components, and cannot be disassembled or damaged due to incorrect installation.
  • Original and Return freight charges are not reimbursable unless the return is a direct result of our error and the part is exchanged for the correct item.
  • DriveWire Inc. will not responsible for labor expenses, towing expenses, or any additional repair expenses or rental car expenses caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation.
  • All returns must be packaged properly for shipment; we will not be responsible for damaged returns resulting from improper packaging. We recommend insuring the item in case of loss or damage.
  • A 30% (Thirty Percent) restocking fee is charged on all returns.
  • Items that are returned past the 30 day return period and are deemed eligible for credit, may be charged additional restock and handling fees of up to 60% of the original purchase price.
  • Original shipping charges incurred by DriveWire Inc. will be deducted from the credit if the part was purchased under our free shipping promotion.
  • DriveWire Inc. will not reimburse return shipping fees, labor charges or installation fees under any circumstances
  • DriveWire.com signing a confirmation of receipt for a returned part does not prove eligibility for a refund or credit.
  • DriveWire.com has the right to refuse a credit for any reason.

  • Eibach and B&G Branded Products
  • Items removed from the sealed plastic bag, or the security seal is breached.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

NEW PART RETURN:
For a new part return that meets the return criteria, you will need to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization from DriveWire.com by using our online RMA Form. Our team will respond shortly with eligibility and a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and instructions on how to proceed with your return. All products must be returned to our Irvine returns department to receive credit. No C.O.D. shipments will be accepted. Please insure the shipment for the full value to protect against loss.

CORES:
Cores will not be accepted after 30 days from purchase date and are subject to a $14.95 shipping and handling fee, NO EXCEPTIONS. Core Returns will only be accepted if the core is of the exact part purchased, is returned to us in the original packaging and all fluids are properly drained. If the returned core is not in original packaging, is damaged or is missing parts, you may only be eligible for partial credit. No C.O.D. shipments will be accepted.

PART EXCHANGES:
Most of our products are drop-shipped from multiple warehouses; therefore we can not do any sort of direct exchange on products purchased from DriveWire.com. All products must be returned and reordered. We will only waive the restock fees for the return if you reorder the correct part before requesting to return the original item back to drivewire.com.

DAMAGED, USED OR MISLABLED PARTS:
If your order arrives damaged or opened, immediately tell the driver that you are refusing the package due to damage. Do NOT accept the package. If a damaged or opened package has been left when you were not present, you will have to call UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS within 24 hours and UPS will pick up the package at no cost to you. You have 24 hours to notify us that you received a damaged product. If you receive an item that has been mislabeled or appears to be used please contact us immediately so we can issue a call tag and send out a replacement. We will not accept responsibility for any damaged, used, or mislabeled claims after 24 hours. No exceptions

WARRANTY ITEMS:
All warranty claims must be accompanied by a valid receipt form a certified installation facility. If a product you purchased through DriveWire.com fails during the warranty period, and was installed by a professional, you may receive a product exchange or an adjustment by returning the product to DriveWire.com. The return must be accompanied by a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number to be issued upon request and must be shipped prepaid. A shipping rebate will only be extended to the customer in the event that a defect in material or workmanship is confirmed. If refund is demanded for any defective item, the amount of refund will be pro-rated by a period of 1 year from the date of purchase less $15 handling charge.

CREDITS: To receive credit, you must meet the criteria above. A 30% restocking fee with a minimum $9.95 handling fee applies to all new products returned to our warehouse within 30 days of original invoice date. Items that are returned past the 30 day return period and are deemed eligible for credit, may be charged additional restock and handling fees of up to 60% of the original purchase price. If you received free shipping due to our free shipping promotion, our shipping cost will be deducted in addition to the restocking and/or handling fees.

Most returns are credited within 30 -45 days of receipt of return. Refunds and Credits for new part returns and/or cores normally will be credited 30-45 days from the date we receive your return at the warehouse. All refunds are applied in the same manner you paid (e.g., if you paid with a credit card, you will receive a credit card refund). Credit card refunds take approximately 3-5 business days to show up on your statement. This is beyond our control.
