Honda Catalytic Converter - Select your Model

Legal in California - New CARB regulations that went into effect on January 1, 2009 now require all exhaust catalyst devices that are sold in California regardless of model year must meet the tougher OBD II emission standards that were introduced in the 1996 model year. DEC converter #HON81654 meets these requirements and can be used on vehicles registered in California.

For Bosal converters that do not have flange grooves for the OE-style ring gaskets, use gasket #256-211 at the converter inlet and gasket #256-395 at the converter outlet (not included with the converter; order separately).
Diversified Environmental offers two diffferent converters for this application, depending on the location of the O2 sensor on the converter housing. Use HON91680 if the sensor is mounted in the center, and use HON91680A if the sensor is mounted at the converter outlet. DEC converter #s HON91680 and HON91680A are 50-state legal for this application, OBDII compatible, and can be used on this vehicle in California.

Direct Fit Catalytic Converter - We offer a choice of replacement exhaust manifold / catalytic converter assemblies for this application.
The Miller unit may come in one of two versions depending on availability. For one version, the manifold section is made from tubular stainless steel;
on the other version the manifold section is cast iron similar to OE. The cast iron version has provisions for reuse of the original heat shield.
The stainless steel version does not require the original heat shield.
