A gasket was not used with this water pump during original engine assembly. Our replacement water pumps for this application include the gasket, which can be used during installation, if desired. Whether or not the gasket is installed, the appropriate liquid gasket sealant should be applied to the sealing surfaces.

The drive pulley used with the water pump on most E15 and E16 engines has a 12mm (1/2") centering hole. Use pump #21010-50A27 for those applications. On some engines, the drive pulley may have a 25mm (1") centering hole. Use pump #21010-50A89 for those applications.

Inc. Fan Clutch Some vehicles may have a different fan/clutch/pump assembly that what was originally installed at the factory. If unsure as to the correct pump, measure across fan blade bolt-center diameter. Use pump #21010-G3928 for fans with bolt-center diameter = 5 1/4". Use pump #BA010-23028 for fans with bolt-center diamter = 4".
