The Acura Integra clutch master cylinder is located on the firewall typically next to the brake master cylinder and its primary function transfer the clutch pedal pressure to release the clutch. You will know if the Acura Integra clutch master cylinder is failing if you rest your foot on the clutch pedal and the pedal slowly goes to the floor.

The Acura Integra pressure plate is a critical part of your clutch assembly. You may want to upgrade to a performance or racing Acura Integra clutch pressure plate.

The Acura Integra clutch release bearing, also known as the throw out bearing is located in the clutch assembly behind the pressure plate and is around the input shaft of the transmission. The Acura Integra clutch release bearing is either mechanically or hydraulically controlled. An indicator of a bad Acura Integra release bearing is that when you put light pressure on the clutch pedal you will hear a grinding or a rubbing sound.

The Acura Integra flywheel is an often overlooked item when replacing the clutch. You should always turn or replace the flywheel when replacing the Acura Integra clutch.
