5000 Information

The Audi 5000 came as a FWD or as a Quattro AWD. The car was hit terribly with some bad press in the early 1980's, claiming the car accelerated on its own. The reality was that drivers actually were hitting the accelerator instead of the gas pedal due to the placement of the pedals. This almost wiped out Audi in the US marketplace, however today the MFG is as strong as ever. The early 5000 does need the KE csi fuel injectors replaced because of the methanol in our fuels.
