The BMW 330 clutch master cylinder is located on the firewall typically next to the brake master cylinder and its primary function transfer the clutch pedal pressure to release the clutch. You will know if the BMW 330 clutch master cylinder is failing if you rest your foot on the clutch pedal and the pedal slowly goes to the floor.

The BMW 330 clutch release bearing, also known as the throw out bearing is located in the clutch assembly behind the pressure plate and is around the input shaft of the transmission. The BMW 330 clutch release bearing is either mechanically or hydraulically controlled. An indicator of a bad BMW 330 release bearing is that when you put light pressure on the clutch pedal you will hear a grinding or a rubbing sound.

The BMW 330 flywheel is an often overlooked item when replacing the clutch. You should always turn or replace the flywheel when replacing the BMW 330 clutch.
