If your BMW 525 fails to start, and the starter is working properly, the next thing to check is the ignition switch. Typically if you have to play with the key to get the BMW 525 starter to crank, the switch is failing. We recommend replacing the BMW 525 starter switch as soon as you notice the switch beginning to fail. This will keep you from getting stranded. The BMW 525 neutral safety switch on vehicles with automatic transmissions can also fail causing the car not to start.

If the BMW 525 power window fails to go up or down, you need to determine if the switch is bad, the window motor or the fuse or circuit breaker has failed. The BMW 525 window switch is the cause of a power window not operating 80% of the time. We carry the Factory window switches including the master window switch assembly located in the center console or on the drivers door.

Today’s BMW 525's come with turn signal switches that are actually a combination switch that not only is used for the turn signal, it may also include the wiper switch, the washer switch, and or the cruise control switch. Any one of these controls can fail, requiring the replacement of the entire BMW 525 turn signal assembly. We carry the same exact BMW 525 OEM turn signal that the dealer sells at a considerable discount.
