Change your Honda Ridgeline Timing Belt every 60,000 miles to avoid major engine damage. You may want to change the Honda Ridgeline Timing belt tensioner and idler pulley at the same time.

Timing Belt Component Kit

The Honda Ridgeline timing belt tensioner should be replaced along with the timing belt every 60,000 miles or at the manufacturers recommended replacement mileage. The Honda Ridgeline timing belt tensioner keeps pressure on the timing belt so the timing belt does not jump teeth and cause damage to the Honda Ridgeline valve train. The timing belt pulley and the bearing should also be replaced at the same time.
