The Porsche 968 cooling fan, or sometimes called the radiator fan, can be located on either side of the radiator and may either be operated by an electric motor or a fan clutch that is driven by the water pump belt. If you notice that your Porsche 968 begins to overheat in traffic you may need a cooling fan switch or a cooling fan clutch.

When replacing the Porsche 968 heater hose or coolant hoses, make sure you use oem or genuine quality replacements as most Porsche 968 heater and coolant hoses are preformed and aftermarket hoses will not work.

DriveWire has a huge selection of genuine and aftermarket Porsche 968 Radiators at discount prices. Make sure you replace the Porsche 968 radiator with a unit of the same shape and size for maximum cooling.

The upper Porsche 968 radiator hose fails more often than any other hose, followed by the Porsche 968 water pump bypass hose and the outlet heater hose from the engine to the heater core.

The Porsche 968 thermal radiator fan switch is usually located in the radiator or the engine block and has 2 or 3 wires coming from the unit. The 3 wire switch has a dual sensor for dual speed radiator fans. The Porsche 968 thermo fan switches come in the factory temperature settings and also come in cooler thermostatic settings so the fan will come on at a lower coolant temp.

DriveWire sells OEM quaity replacement Porsche 968 water pumps amd gaskets at discount prices. All Porsche 968 Water pumps meet or exceed the factory specs, and come with a full warranty.
