Automotive Alternators - Sometimes an alternator will fail in stages. On your dash, you may notice your alternator warning light dimly lit, which indicates that your alternator is not producing the full amount of current that it should.

Battery Cables - If the battery cable is corroded, we recommend using only the factory OEM cable with the correct battery cable ends to maintain the manufacturers cable specs.

Automotive Starters - If your starter has failed, we reccomend replacing the starter with a high quality unit that meets or exceeds the manufacturer requirements. DriveWire sells OE quality Bosch, Denso and Delco starters at low prices.

Voltage Regulator - There is 2 types of alternator voltage regulators, the internal and external regulator. The external type of regulator is typically located on the fender or the firewall. The internal type of alternator regulator is located within the alternator and in some cases is replaceable.
