Battery Cables
The battery cables are one of the most under serviced items on a car or truck. If your vehicle does not want to start and the battery is ok, in most cases the battery cables or cable ends have corroded or built up resistance due to heat or oil contamination. The best way to determine if the battery cables need to be replaced is visually looking at the cables.
Take a good look at the cables, are they corroded at the battery terminals? Is the cable insulation cracked from heat or oil? Are the cables tight at the battery, engine block and starter? If your answer is not to any of these questions, we recommend replacing the battery cables immediately with a set of Genuine OEM cables. We have a large selection of cables for most vehicles in stock.
