Ignition Switch
If your car or truck fails to start, and the starter is working properly, the next thing to check is the ignition switch. Typically if you have to play with the key to get the car starter to crank, the switch is failing. We recommend replacing the starter switch as soon as you notice the switch beginning to fail. This will keep you from getting stranded. The neutral safety switch on vehicles with automatic transmissions can also fail causing the car not to start. At DriveWire we carry OEM, Genuine and aftermarket ignition starter switches that are OE quality.
