Tail Light Assembly
The taillight is located obviously at the rear of the car or truck. The taillight usually has the brake light, turn signal, and the back up light integrated into the taillight. Most tail light assemblies have the taillight, reflector, lens and bulbs as a complete unit and are replaced as one piece.
The taillight on some cars and trucks are clear and some red or amber. There really is no difference between the taillights, except the exterior color. If you need to replace the taillights it is advisable to replace both the right taillight and the left taillight as a set. This will keep the car looking uniform and will illuminate the same.
