Idler Arm Information
Steering Idler Arm
The steering idler arm is the arm that is at the opposite side of the center link from the steering box. When the Idler arm wears out, the steering will seem loose, and you will get very uneven tire wear on the right hand front tire. It is always a good idea to replace the center link and the tie rods at the same time, as you will need to have the vehicle aligned when you have replaced the steering parts.
