Behr AC Evaporator -
The compressed refrigerant is expanded in the AC evaporator; it evaporates, which cools it greatly, and thus takes the heat out of the cabin air. In 2002, Behr became the first to bring a flat-tube AC evaporators into serial production. In comparison with the plate/fin evaporators that were previously used.
