In conjunction with the ventilated brake disc surface it forms an optimal braking system.

All Zimmermann Cross Drilled Rotors are compatible with series brake systems. The efficiency is improved through using Cross Drilled Rotors.

The wear holes of a Zimmermann Cross Drilled Rotor are equipped with oversized holes. Apart from the specific braking advantages the wear hole has a further advantage. It is so constructed that one can continually observe when the minimal parallelism has been reached. When the wear hole is no longer visible through the bore it is necessary to change the brake disc because it is not within the tolerance.
