ZF Sales & Service remanufactures steering gears and pumps for such automobile and heavy duty truck applications as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen, Freightliner, GM, and Ford.

ZF steering pumps and components are remanufactured at ZF's 160,000-square-foot facility just outside of Chicago in Vernon Hills, IL. At this state-of-the-art location, we use only factory-designed test benches to check every critical aspect of the remanufacturing process.

In the ZF remanufacturing process, every core is washed in environmentally safe soap and water and then sandblasted. No harsh solvents or cleaning chemicals are used. All internal components are inspected. Everything that fails to pass our tough standards is replaced - with original ZF parts. Items like o-rings, seals and protecting caps are never reused. Remanufactured pumps and steering gears are given the same protective coating that is applied to new components. Every unit meets stringent specifications and only the highest OE quality standards.
