Remanufactured This alternator can be either Hitachi or Mitsubishi brand. The two brands may differ in appearance, but either brand alternator will work on this application. BEFORE installing this alternator, refer to Application Notice #B-35 in the Bosch reman catalog regarding the pulley diameter. Replacing the pulley on this alternator with a smaller diameter pulley may also require the use of a shorter drive belt. On rare occasions, minor grinding to remove excess material on the adjusting bracket may be req'd.
