LuK Clutch Disc - The clutch disc is the clutch’s central connection element. In combination with the clutch pressure plate, it both separates and links engine and power train. It also reduces the speed fluctuations in the gearbox caused by the combustion motor. LuK offers the best solutions for every application, from clutch discs with simple torsion damper through to variants with multi-stage dampers, from rigid clutch discs for use in the dual mass flywheel right through to the displacement correction clutch disc.

220mm AWD Engine -Vin# 027 082 AWW Engine -Vin# 013 040 Prior to purchasing the pressure plate and disc, if a thick grease is noted externally around the assembly, this may need a flywheel. The flywheel is a dual mass, fluid filled unit. Another way to inspect the car for a possibly bad flywheel is; If you look on the engine side of the bell housing and notice any of the 8 rubber "freeze plug style" plugs are missing, the flywheel is more than likely bad.
