OES stands for Original Equipment Supplier. This refers to the part that is provided to us by the actual vehicle manufacturer. The newest version of this part may have a "thicker" mounting flange which may require the use of a longer bolt. The original bolt may only allow contact with a few of the threads, and this may not be sufficient to adequately hold this tensioner in place. If required, use longer bolt #14517-PMM-A02 which will allow full thread contact and a more secure mounting. Please check for this situation before torquing the mounting bolt to the recommended spec.
