Exc. California Honda changed the valve stem seals' design in mid-'87 for this application, but they are not packaged with this head gasket set. If the vehicle is model year 1987 and the engine # is 2235583 or later (non-Calif.) or 2011330 or later (Calif.), then the later-design valve stem seals should be ordered separately. 8 each of 12210-PT2-003 (intake) and 12211-PT2-003 (exhaust) will be required per engine.
