MAHLE Cartridge Oil Filter

MAHLE oil filters reliably prevent contaminants from entering the lubrication system and maintain oil quality as well as the performance and efficiency of the engine. Thanks to stable pleat geometry, cold start stability is assured. Load peaks up to 20 bar are compensated due to the high pressure resistance of the housing.

A pressure relief valve guarantees the oil supply under all conditions – for viscous oil encountered during cold starts or at low temperatures, for extremely contaminated filter elements, or when the replacement intervals have been exceeded.

A non-return flow valve prevents the draining of the filter when the engine is switched off and ensures adequate oil supply when the engine is started. High-grade sealing materials and custom-fit connecting pieces assure reliable separation of contaminated and filtered oil.

Cartridge Type Oil Filter
With filter cartridges from the MAHLE OX and OX-Eco program they offer particularly economical solutions for repair shops: instead of replacing the complete filter, only the dirty filter element has to be renewed. This is an ecologically sensible solution that saves material and disposal costs. In the OX-Eco version, the cartridges are metal-free and can therefore be completely incinerated.

MANN-FILTER oil filters reliably purify oils from dirt and solid particles such as dust, abraded metal, carbon deposits, soot particles etc.

MANN oil filter media have been specially developed for use in modern engines. Their distinctive feature is their high dirt absorption capacity, filter fineness that is exactly coordinated with the engine requirements, and high resistance to chemicals. The service life of these long-life filter media is  already 50,000 km in the passenger car sector and 150,000 km for trucks.

MANN oil filter cartridges are either situated in their own housing or they are integrated directly into the engine oil circulation system. They are particularly kind to the environment as only the filter element is replaced. Housing and valves remain on the engine block. The exact fit in the housing ensures that MANN-FILTER oil filter cartridges are completely leak-free.

The metal-free MANN-FILTER oil filter cartridges are particularly eco-friendly. They are made of one material and does not create any ash when disposed of in a thermal process.
