We offer a choice of replacement exhaust manifold / catalytic converter assemblies for this application. The Dorman and Bosal units are still awaiting C.A.R.B. exemption orders, so they are not recommended for use at this time on vehicles designed for California emission standards. The Miller unit DOES have an C.A.R.B exemption order on file and can be used on vehicles designed for California emission standards. The Miller unit may come in one of two versions depending on availability. For one version, the manifold section is made from tubular stainless steel; on the other version the manifold section is cast iron similar to OE. The cast iron version has provisions for reuse of the original heat shield. The stainless steel version does not require the original heat shield and remains CARB and OBDII compliant without this heat shield.
