Mazda MPV Timing Belt Tensioner - Select Year

Roller There are 2 idler bearings on this vehicle as well - 1 upper & 1 lower upper & lower idler bearing part # = JE15-12-730C - Reqs '2' Recommend replacing tensioner spacer as well - Part # JF01-12-754 -

This is the hydraulic portion of the tensioner. It Pushes against the Pulley Portion. It is actuated by oil pressure. There is a pin that retains the piston. If this pin is removed before installation the piston will deploy and you will break the rod that presses against the pulley. See factory repair manual for instructions on how to compress the piston. No warranty will be accepted for broken rod. -
