Hydraulic engine mounts are increasingly utilized to improve ride comfort. As elastomeric and at the same time vibration controlling connection between power unit and chassis, they restrict high-amplitude power unit resonances e.g. load changes and engine shake by their adaptable damping characteristics. Integrated amplitude decoupling devices isolate structure-borne noise transmission over the whole engine speed range.
