Diesel - Extreme care must be taken to insure that the filter sealing surface on the engine block is clean and that ALL gasket material and other debris from the old filter have been removed BEFORE installing a fresh filter. Failure to do so can lead to oil leakage which is a potential fire hazard if the leak drips onto exhaust system components nearby. -
