A plugged or restricted PCV system is a common cause of premature distributor failure on this vehicle due to oil contamination. We recommend the installation of a new PCV valve and a check of any related hoses as part of the ignition distributor replacement for this application. Order PCV valve #11810-86G01 separately as needed. Distributor failure due to oil contamination IS NOT covered by the manufacturer's warranty!!
