Nissan Xterra Clutch Release Bearing - Select Year

- Due to the design of the release system for the clutch on this vehicle, the flywheel should NEVER be machined. If in doubt about the condition of the flywheel, DO NOT resurface it, but REPLACE it with a new unit! - There have been reports of clutch slippage on some 90-91 Turbo models. Nissan has issued a service bulletin that recommends replacing the clutch master cylinder (30610-40P03, available from us) and the clutch pedal return spring (46585-30P16, available from your Nissan dealer) BEFORE blaming the clutch assembly for this slippage. Also, due to the design of the release system, the flywheel should NOT be machined. If in doubt about the condition of the flywheel, DON'T resurface it, but REPLACE it instead. -
