The pump assembly can be taken apart to install the new pump insert if desired. - w/ Fuel Pump - w/ Fuel Sending Level - w/ Fuel Sending Level Some customers have reported that the 5122022 "Pump only" will work for this application ? - Walbro - In-tank - w/o Check Valve ALSO NEED: 1)41 61 766 Check Valve & 4)79 74 546 O-Ring Some Walbro pump "insert" installations may also require #40 19 998 fuel hose (between the insert and the pump cover). See your local SAAB dealer if this hose is needed. - Walbro - In-tank SAAB dealers offer the complete fuel pump assembly only. Our offering is for the Bosch pump motor insert only, at a considerably reduced cost. The alternate pump insert offered by Bosch requires considerable modification including enlarging the pump housing/reservoir to hold the larger body of the Bosch pump and replacement of the fuel inlet hose. Customers that are unable or unwilling to attempt these modifications should not use the Bosch pump. - Walbro in-tank - SAAB dealers offer the complete fuel pump assembly only.
