Please check operation of the O2 sensors, Air Flow Meter, Spark Plugs and wires or any other items that can cause an Air/Fuel mixture issue.
If other issues are not resolved damage to the new converter may result.
THE ORIGINAL FRONT AND REAR CATALYSTS ARE SEPARATE UNITS. THIS UNIT REPLACES BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR CATALYSTS. Does not have provisions for heat shield - -
